Software for the problems large organisations live with.
Right now that means CodeVault Electrical, a Revit add-in that routes conduit for electricians.
What we look for
Every large organisation has a problem it stopped calling a problem. Someone keeps a spreadsheet for it, or loses an afternoon to it every week. We go looking for those, and write the software that ends them.
There's a workaround
A spreadsheet, a macro, or one person who knows how. The problem is real, and nobody has fixed it.
It's done by hand, often
Too small to escalate, too frequent to ignore.
It fits what people already use
Trying it should take an afternoon.
Before it goes on every machine
- Your models stay on your machines
- It makes no network calls. Logs record element IDs and timings, never model contents.
- Managed centrally
- A machine-wide settings file overrides each user's, and one switch turns every command off.
- Changes only what it adds
- Each route is one undo step, stamped with its ID and version. It never saves the project, and linked models are read only.
- Works with shared models
- It checks that elements are editable, and stops before changing anything if a link is unloaded or a workset is closed.
- No clashes with other add-ins
- It loads no third-party libraries into Revit.
